Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP QM Functional Consultant to join our SAP team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in the SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules, with a clear understanding of manufacturing, quality processes, and SAP best practices. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to design, configure, and support SAP PP/QM solutions across various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to production and quality processes
  • Configure SAP PP (Discrete/Process/REM) and QM modules according to business needs
  • Handle end-to-end SAP PP processes: MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control
  • Manage QM processes: Inspection Lots, Quality Notifications, Certificates, Results Recording, and Quality Control
  • Integrate PP/QM with other modules like MM, SD, WM, and PM
  • Design functional specifications for custom developments (RICEFW objects)
  • Support testing activities (unit, integration, UAT) and conduct end-user training
  • Assist in data migration, cutover, and go-live support
  • Provide ongoing post-go-live support and troubleshoot issues
  • Follow SAP best practices and work within the SAP Activate or Agile project methodology
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and other functional consultants

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM configuration and support
  • At least 12 full-cycle SAP implementations in PP and/or QM

  • Strong knowledge of:

  • PP processes: Demand Management, MRP, Production Orders, Capacity Planning

  • QM processes: Inspection types, Master Inspection Characteristics (MICs), Sampling, Results recording

  • Good understanding of Master Data: BOM, Routing, Inspection Plans, Work Centers

  • Experience with Batch Management, Serial Numbers, and Shop Floor integration
  • Knowledge of Quality Certificates, Audit Management, Calibration is a plus
  • Integration experience with MM, SD, PM, and WM
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori apps, S/4HANA environment, and new functionalities
  • Ability to write detailed Functional Specifications and support technical development
