Position: HR Executive & Compliance

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Regional Manager HR

Job Summary:

The HR Executive & Compliance role is responsible for managing core HR functions, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company policies, and overseeing compliance-related activities to maintain a legally sound and ethical work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations:

  • Manage employee onboarding, documentation, and exit formalities.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR databases.
  • Assist in payroll processing, attendance management, and leave tracking.
  • Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and grievances.

Compliance & Legal:

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Handle statutory compliances such as PF, ESIC, gratuity, and professional tax.
  • Prepare and maintain compliance reports for audits and inspections.
  • Liaise with legal advisors and government bodies for compliance matters.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Support initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee engagement.
  • Assist in handling disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct awareness sessions on HR policies and compliance requirements.

Recruitment & Training:

  • Support the hiring process, including job postings, screening, and interviews.
  • Assist in employee training programs related to compliance and workplace ethics.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years in HR and compliance roles.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR policies, and compliance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
