Role - Swimming Coach (Part time/full time)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plans, develops, and designs health education and training programs, including preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.
  2. Evaluates programs; performs research on relevant topics, and develops and/or revises curriculum modules and/or presentation materials as appropriate.
  3. Presents lectures and training to groups and/or individuals, as appropriate.
  4. Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education and individual, dual or team sports.
  5. Determining ability and skill level before setting up training programs.
  6. Developing and implementing training programs that focus on improving technique, stroke placement, speed, and style.
  7. Analyzing, demonstrating, and explains basic skills, knowledge and strategies of formal sports, games, rhythms, and fundamentals of body movement. Teaching brand new swimming styles or strokes.
  8. Using a range of activities to improve water confidence.
  9. Recording training sessions in order to analyze strokes, techniques, and monitor progress.
  10. Teaching and perfecting skills like flips, kicks, body rolls, floating, and breath control.
  11. Ensuring the pool or training area is clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards.
  12. Working cooperatively with other physical education teachers in planning and implementing a balanced physical education programs.
  13. Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior to provide an orderly, productive environment in the physical education areas.
  14. Providing appropriate safety instruction and makes safety checks on equipment and field areas to ensure the overall safety of students.
  15. Evaluating academic and social growth of students, prepares report cards, etc.
  16. Maintaining control of storage and use of school property.
  17. Evaluating each student's growth in physical skills, knowledge and contribution in team sports.
  18. Communicating with parents and school counselors on student progress.
  19. Supervising students in out of classroom activities during the assigned working day.
  20. Modeling nondiscriminatory practices in all activities.

Age: Years

Experience: Teaching Experience of 2-3 years from any reputed school will be preferred. 

Qualification: Graduate in PE | Training/Coaching Certification
