Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic and lean design team. In this role, you will work closely with the UX Architect, and business stakeholders to deliver evidence-based, accessible, and visually engaging designs. UI/UX is a central pillar of our culture, and we are seeking someone who thrives in an environment where design decisions are driven by both user data and business goals.

Responsibilities

Design Excellence

  • Lead UI design for digital products ensuring usability, accessibility, and pixel-perfect execution.
  • Deliver high-impact marketing artifacts, infographics, proposals, and pitch decks.
  • Establish, maintain, and evolve design guidelines, style guides, and libraries.

Collaboration & Research

  • Partner with UX researchers and business stakeholders to integrate qualitative and quantitative insights into design solutions.
  • Apply UX fundamentals to support user journeys, wireframes, and workflows.
  • Facilitate or moderate design thinking workshops with cross-functional teams.

Design Systems & Standards

  • Implement and maintain design systems (e.g., DLS 2.0, Material Design, Karbon, Atlassian).
  • Drive consistency across interfaces, marketing collateral, and product touchpoints.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide and mentor junior designers, fostering skill development and design maturity.
  • Cultivate a collaborative, feedback-driven culture across the design team.
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to align on strategy and execution.
Key Skills Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail – Strong sense of visual consistency, craftsmanship, and layout precision.
  • Quick and adaptive learner – Solid grounding in design principles and user-centered design, with the ability to learn new tools and domains rapidly.
  • Self-driven and accountable – Delivers high-quality work independently and takes full ownership of deliverables.
  • Data-informed communicator – Effectively articulates design decisions using real-time user insights and aligns with business goals.
  • Excellent communication skills – Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate across teams and present ideas convincingly.
Additional Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years in UI/UX design with proven leadership responsibilities.
  • Tools & Proficiency: Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma; familiarity with collaboration tools (Miro, Figjam etc.).
  • Strong experience in collaborating with researchers and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to facilitate and moderate design thinking workshops.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UI design excellence, design systems, and visual storytelling.
  • Deep understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with large-scale or government systems.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1/2.2).
  • Data visualization or motion/interaction design expertise.
