Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and coordinate survey operations for infrastructure, land development, and construction projects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field teams to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.
  • Conduct and review topographical, boundary, and construction layout surveys using total stations, GPS, digital levels, and related instruments.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and project plans to set out key site features (roads, structures, utilities, etc.).
  • Oversee the preparation and verification of survey reports, maps, and CAD/GIS drawings.
  • Validate and approve data used in construction, ensuring compliance with project specifications and legal boundaries.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, civil engineers, and contractors for effective execution.
  • Ensure timely submission of as-built data, field notes, and legal documentation.
  • Implement quality control measures and troubleshoot survey-related issues on-site.
  • Maintain updated records of all surveys, including re-surveys and corrections.
  • Ensure the safe handling and maintenance of surveying equipment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or Surveying Technology.
  • Minimum 6 -10 years of experience in a civil surveying role.
  • Proficiency in surveying instruments and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Total Station, GPS, GIS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site leveling, layout, and land records.
  • Familiarity with statutory codes, land laws, and project documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work on-site in challenging environments as needed.
