Job Description: Senior Back Office Executive

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Back Office Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all administrative and operational tasks that support our client-facing teams and insurance broking activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry's back-office processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Administration: Oversee the entire policy life cycle, including preparing proposals, issuing policy documents, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations. Ensure all policies are processed accurately and on time.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update client and policy data in the company's database and management systems. This includes ensuring data accuracy and generating reports as needed.
  • Claims Processing Support: Assist the claims team by gathering and organizing necessary documents, coordinating with insurance companies, and tracking the status of claims to ensure timely resolution.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all back-office operations adhere to relevant regulations and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior back-office staff. Provide guidance on complex tasks, conduct training sessions, and ensure the team's efficiency and productivity.
  • Client & Insurer Coordination: Act as a key point of contact between clients and insurance carriers for administrative matters. Address and resolve any queries or issues related to policy administration.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Generate regular reports on back-office performance, policy status, and key metrics for senior management. Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in insurance sector-motors

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products, policy documentation, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
