Ensuring the safety and security of the residents: The Hostel Warden is responsible for ensuring that the hostel is a safe and secure environment for residents to live in. This involves monitoring the premises, implementing safety protocols, and addressing any security concerns that arise.

Managing the maintenance of the facilities: The Hostel Warden is responsible for ensuring that the hostel is kept in good condition. This involves overseeing repairs and maintenance work, ensuring that the facilities are clean and tidy, and addressing any issues that arise.

Handling administrative tasks: The Hostel Warden is responsible for handling administrative tasks such as managing resident records, handling finances, and coordinating with other staff members.

Supervising staff members: The Hostel Warden may be responsible for supervising other staff members, such as housekeeping staff, security staff, and maintenance staff.
