Associate– Analytics

About the role

At smallcase, we are looking for an Associate to strengthen our Analytics & AI/ML capabilities. In this role, you will partner with business and product teams to enable data-backed problem solving and drive the adoption of AI/ML across key use cases.

You will play a key role in:

• Managing analytics projects that inform business and product decisions

• Identifying opportunities to apply AI/ML within workflows, decision systems, and customer experiences

• Building scalable processes and insights to support data-driven decision-making

• Mentoring team members and ensuring smooth collaboration across stakeholders

• With strong expertise in analytics and a practical understanding of ML applications, you will help shape strategies, optimize processes, and improve product outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage end-to-end analytics initiatives across multiple product lines

• Conduct advanced data analysis and develop predictive models to test hypotheses and solve business challenges

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML into business and product workflows (e.g., personalization, forecasting, automation)

• Ensure data accuracy and reliability in partnership with product and engineering teams

• Apply advanced analytics and experimental methodologies (A/B testing, funnel analysis, cohort analysis, etc.) to generate insights and measure impact

• Translate data and ML outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders

• Encourage adoption of data-driven and AI-assisted decision-making within teams

What We Look for in You

• 1-3 years of experience in analytics and/or AI/ML domains

• Demonstrated ability to take initiatives from idea to execution (analytics projects, ML model deployments, or both)

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, and MS Excel (exposure to ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch is a plus; Mixpanel experience is also a plus)

• Solid understanding of product analytics and ML techniques (classification, regression, clustering, recommendations, NLP, etc.)

• A proactive mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities where data and AI can create impact
