Primary Purpose
To spearhead international market growth for Enzyme and Probiotic solutions by expanding global presence, developing strong distributor networks, achieving export revenue targets, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, while leveraging market intelligence and competitive insights.
Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Expected Results
International Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual international sales targets across regions such as USA, Europe, Africa, Russia, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
- Deliver 25–35% YOY growth in export sales.
Market Expansion
- Identify and penetrate new international markets through distributors, direct clients, and partnerships.
- Acquire X new distributors or OEM clients per quarter (to be set as per targets).
Distributor & Partner Development
- Build a robust international distributor network with structured agreements and performance monitoring.
- Conduct quarterly virtual meetings and annual distributor meet for relationship building.
Customer Relationship Management
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business from global clients.
- Maintain 90–95% retention of key international accounts.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to export regulations, customs documentation, and certifications for all international shipments.
- Maintain compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and destination-country norms.
Market Trend Analysis
- Monitor global enzyme and probiotic trends, including sustainability initiatives, regulatory updates, and emerging applications.
- Prepare bi-annual global market intelligence reports for management.
Competitor Analysis
- Track global competitors, their pricing models, and distribution strategies.
- Suggest counter-strategies to maintain competitive advantage in key markets.
Pricing & Profitability
- Set region-specific pricing considering duties, shipping costs, and market conditions.
- Maintain minimum X% margin across international orders.
Market Reality Communication
- Provide real-time insights on customer needs, regulatory changes, and geopolitical risks affecting trade.
- Suggest product modifications or new SKUs for global demands.
Forecasting & Reporting
- Submit accurate export sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategy updates.
- Present quarterly business reviews to management with insights and action plans.
Required Knowledge
- Global Industry Knowledge: Enzyme and probiotic applications in Pharma, Food, Feed, Bakery, Detergent, Textile, Leather internationally.
- Export Compliance: Knowledge of EXIM procedures, international shipping terms (INCOTERMS), customs clearance, and documentation.
- Regulatory Standards: Understanding of GMP, HACCP, ISO, FDA, EFSA regulations.
- International Trade Practices: Export incentives, currency risk, freight forwarding, and payment terms (LC, TT).
- Competitive Landscape: Awareness of global competitors and pricing dynamics.
