Overview of the role

Join IKEAs dynamic team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in Visual Merchandising (VM) & Interior Design (ID). This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real projects, develop practical skills, and contribute to our creative processes. You must attend at least 4 weeks full time with a possibility for extension upon the business needs and candidates availability.

What you will do Visual Merchandising/Interior Design (VM/ID):

• Spend half of your time on ID tasks and the other half on VM tasks.
• Assist in creating visually appealing and functional spaces.
• Collaborate with the team to implement design concepts.
• Participate in setting up new displays and rearranging existing ones.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on current design trends.
• Help in planning and executing in-store events and promotions.
• Ensure that all designs meet IKEAs quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Provide input on improving store layout and customer flow.

Required Skills to be successful

• Ability to engage in physical tasks.
• Strong commitment and passion for design and visual merchandising.
