Job Description:
As the Branch Manager at Velox Automation, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading our expansion in the region. Your responsibilities include:
- Sales & Marketing Leadership: Lead sales and marketing activities in the assigned region by positioning the company as a trusted partner to industries and government establishments. Build strong relationships with consultants, promote company solutions, and enhance brand visibility.
- Business Development & Client Engagement: Drive business growth through proactive inquiry generation, proposal preparation, and effective participation in technical and commercial discussions with clients and consultants. Ensure conversion of inquiries into orders and oversee seamless execution in coordination with the engineering and execution teams at the Surat headquarters.
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning: Provide regular weekly MIS updates to Top Management. Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to design and implement strategies for regional business expansion. Mobilise internal resources or recruit external talent to support growth initiatives as required.
- Financial & Operational Oversight: Monitor branch-level accounts, expenses, and daily operations to ensure optimal resource utilisation and cost efficiency. Maintain compliance with organisational policies and financial controls.
Ensure timely follow-up and collection of payments from customers, safeguarding the companys financial health.
- Team Collaboration: Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing team in the region. Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and accountability while maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
Products to handle:
- You are expected to manage the business of Industrial Automation, PLC, SCADA, MHI and drive products and solutions mainly of Siemens make.
- If required, on a case-specific basis you may need to handle Electrical panels as well.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- 10 to 15+ years of experience in the field, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, I&C or related engineering branch.
- A strong background in industrial automation, particularly in roles involving sales and marketing.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with a proactive approach to business development and problem-solving.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to manage a team and foster positive relationships.
- Financial acumen and a keen eye for managing budgets and expenses.
- The ability to work collaboratively and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
