Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong proficiency in Catia V5/V6 for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
  • Should have completed at least 23 full-cycle NPD projects, preferably in automotive interiors.
  • Hands-on experience in the design and development of IP (Instrument Panel), Console, Door Trims, and other Interior/Trim Parts.
  • Solid understanding of product design, manufacturing processes, and DFM/DFA principles.
  • In-depth knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) with practical experience in applying it to 2D/3D drawings.
  • Ability to independently handle parts, sub-systems, and interior commodities.
  • Experience in creating parts that meet design rules, regulatory requirements, and OEM standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Should be a team player or team lead, flexible to adapt to different project streams as per dynamic requirements.
  • Should be able to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global teams and customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
  • Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience preferred.
