Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant role based in Chennai. The Senior Accountant will oversee and manage daily financial operations, including the preparation of financial statements, reviewing budgets, and monitoring expenditures to ensure alignment with organizational goals. They will ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage accounts payable and receivable, and conduct financial forecasting and analysis. The candidate will also work closely with internal teams to develop best practices for accounting procedures and provide advice on improving financial efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and financial statement preparation
  • Expertise in tax regulations, compliance, and financial reporting
  • Solid skills in accounts management, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Proficiency in financial forecasting and analysis, along with strategic planning
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP)
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with internal teams and offer strategic financial advice
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or equivalent would be an advantage
