Chanal Sales Manager - Internasal Sales

Job Purpose

To drive international sales and distribution of Abans Financial Services' Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) and Global Arbitrage Fund by building strategic relationships with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, wealth managers, and institutional investorsparticularly across African markets and other global geographies. The role is critical to expanding the firms international investor base and positioning Abans as a trusted provider of alternative investment solutions globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for AIF and global arbitrage fund distribution in Africa and other identified international markets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with international HNIs, wealth advisory firms, family offices, and institutional clients.
  • Present investment strategies and performance updates to prospective investors and partners.
  • Ensure compliance with cross-border fund distribution norms and assist with regulatory coordination where required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (investment, compliance, legal) to tailor offerings for local suitability.
  • Represent Abans at international investment forums, conferences, and roadshows.

Skills and Qualification required:

  • 5-7 years of proven international sales or fund distribution experience, preferably with exposure to African and emerging markets.
  • Strong knowledge of AIFs, hedge funds, or structured investment products.
  • Demonstrated ability to build international client relationships and close high-ticket investments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, travel internationally, and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
