Position Overview:

We are looking for a YouTube SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of YouTube's algorithms, trends, and best practices to optimize video content and channel performance. This role is pivotal in ensuring Gururo's content reaches its maximum potential audience, drives engagement, and enhances brand visibility on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Video Optimization: Optimize video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails to maximize visibility and click-through rates.
  2. Keyword Research: Identify high-performing keywords and phrases related to Gururo's content.
  3. Competitor Analysis: Analyze competing channels and videos to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  4. Reporting: Monitor, analyze and report on channel and video performance using YouTube Analytics and other tools.
  5. Content Strategy: Collaborate with the content team to plan, schedule, and strategize video content based on SEO insights.
  6. Engagement Strategy: Advise on strategies to increase video watch time, views, and subscriber count.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with the video production, marketing, and social media teams to align SEO strategies with broader company goals.
  8. Stay Updated: Keep abreast of YouTube's platform updates, SEO trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience with YouTube SEO or video platform optimization.
  2. Proficient in YouTube Analytics and SEO tools like TubeBuddy or vidIQ.
  3. Strong analytical skills and ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Familiarity with video production processes and workflows is a plus.
