Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical SEO Specialist/Engineer to be a foundational member of our team. You will be responsible for executing and managing the technical and on-page SEO strategy for a diverse portfolio of clients. Your work will directly impact our clients' visibility, traffic, and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to crawling, indexing, site architecture, and core web vitals (LCP, FID, CLS).
  • Implement and manage XML sitemaps, files, and canonical tags.
  • Ensure proper implementation of structured data markup).
  • Audit site performance and security (HTTPS) factors affecting SEO.

On-Page SEO:

  • Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content strategy.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and images for target keywords.
  • Develop and manage content briefs to ensure new pages are optimized for search intent from inception.
  • Analyze and improve internal linking structures for optimal link equity flow.

Off-Page & Analytics:

  • Assist in developing and executing link-building and digital PR strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze backlink profiles to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Set up and configure Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and other reporting tools.
  • Track, measure, and report on key SEO performance metrics (traffic, rankings, conversions).
  • Create clear, actionable reports that demonstrate ROI and progress to clients.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an SEO role, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
  • Experience with website platforms (WordPress, Shopify, etc.) and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with enterprise-level sites or complex SEO challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and their impact on SEO.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
