To support the Finance and Accounts team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records by performing data entry, journal posting, and inventory accounting activities in Tally ERP. The role requires hands-on experience in day-to-day bookkeeping and familiarity with standard accounting practices.

  • Ideal candidates shall be , B.Com / M.Com Graduates with Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting data entry and Tally operations.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP (Prime / Tally.ERP 9).
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and journal posting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and other office applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Key functions

  • Enter daily accounting transactions including journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts, and contra entries in Tally.
  • Perform ledger posting and reconciliation of accounts on a regular basis.
  • Maintain and update inventory entries, purchase and sales records, and stock adjustments in Tally.
  • Assist in bank reconciliation, vendor and customer account reconciliation.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurately recorded, filed, and stored in compliance with internal policies.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to verify and validate supporting documents for entries.
  • Generate accounting reports and summaries from Tally as required by the management.
