Role Description

This is a contract role for a Purchasing Manager, based on-site in Rudrapur. The Purchasing Manager will oversee and manage purchasing activities and supplier relations, ensuring timely procurement of materials, goods, and services. Responsibilities include negotiating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, monitoring purchase operations, and evaluating vendor performance. The individual will also be expected to collaborate with other departments to ensure operational efficiency and cost management.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier negotiation
  • Must have experience with Cable/Wire Manufacturing companies
  • Proficiency in supply chain management, inventory management, and cost analysis
  • Experience with purchasing systems, vendor performance evaluation, and maintaining documentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software used for purchasing and inventory
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, or automotive industries is a plus
