The ideal candidate will be r
esponsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, maintaining and optimizing LabVIEW-based automated test systems for SMT, Electronics & Electrical plants, specifically in automotive electrical, lighting and EV applications. The role focuses on ensuring high test system uptime, adherence to automotive quality standards, robust data traceability, and includes training and mentoring plant teams in LabVIEW usage and troubleshooting.

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation / Computer Science Engineering

or related discipline

Work Experience

  • Minimum
    5 years' experience

in LabVIEW development for manufacturing/test automation (automotive SMT/PCBA preferred).
- Proficiency in
NI LabVIEW

(CLAD/CLD certification preferred) and NI TestStand.
- Experience with ICT, AOI, functional testers, EOL testers, burn-in machines, and high-voltage EV component testers.
- Exposure to automotive quality systems (
IATF 16949, PPAP, MSA, traceability

).

  • Hardware integration: NI DAQ/PXI, PLCs, IC programmers, vision systems, sensors, actuators.
  • Test system calibration, correlation, and preventive maintenance.
  • Version control and change management for LabVIEW software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-urgency environment
