What you will do:
- Provide technical assistance with cloud infrastructure and services in Morpheus CMP.
- Monitor and maintain infrastructure systems to guarantee their availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and address issues with cloud infrastructure.
- Work with the development and operations teams to optimize cloud solutions.
- Assist with the deployment and setup of cloud resources.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud systems, including architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Analyze cloud system performance metrics and logs to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend improvements or upgrades. Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Operations to understand requirements, use cases and transform them into tests
- Handling P1 situations in Cloud Infra.
- Provide technical and architectural leadership for the infrastructure Engineering teams and Operations roles
- Automate the provisioning, deployment, scaling and monitoring of the platform.
- Design and develop automation processes and tools.
- Maintain existing automation processes and expand test cases to support REST API testing
- Gather and analyze testing requirements based on the product requirements and lead the test efforts across the board.
- Help in root cause analysis of defects/issues and facilitate product release/roll-out
- Work closely with development teams to identify and resolve problems
What you need to bring:
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Cloud Support Engineer or in a similar position.
- At least 5 year of experience in Morpheus Cloud Management Platform.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud systems, including VMware, KVM, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in Morpheus Cloud Management Platform
- Windows Server, Ubuntu, RHEL, HPE VME, Centos,
- Zerto (disaster recovery)
- Jira, agile methodologies
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Advanced network troubleshooting skills in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and frameworks.
- Experience in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, Json).
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate business judgment, decision making skills, negotiating skills, time-resource management, complex problem solving, in-depth product knowledge, creativity, teamwork, knowledge of quality processes, political astuteness and sensitivity in dealing with diverse cultures and ability to learn quickly.
- Experience in interacting/Supporting Level 1/Level2 Support teams and customers
- Must be a team player and show ability and willingness to motivate and support other engineers
