About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled
Cloud Support Engineer
to provide comprehensive support for cloud infrastructure, networking, and end-user environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with
FortiGate firewalls
,
Azure cloud
, and
technical support operations
, along with a strong understanding of network administration and troubleshooting.

This role involves
after-hours coverage
for U.S. operations and requires a proactive professional capable of managing incidents, responding to alerts, and ensuring uninterrupted IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    after-hours support
    for infrastructure, networking, and end-user operations across U.S. time zones.
  • Monitor and respond to
    alerts, incidents, and tickets
    within defined SLAs.
  • Escalate critical issues following
    established runbooks and escalation procedures
    .
  • Manage
    user accounts
    , perform
    password resets
    , and handle
    Office 365 administration
    .
  • Provide
    technical assistance
    and
    end-user support
    for Windows environments and applications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, changes, and resolutions.

Technical Skills Required:

  • FortiGate Firewalls:
    Hands-on experience in configuration, VPN setup, routing, policies, and SD-WAN.
  • Networking:
    Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Radius authentication.
  • Wireless Networking:
    Familiar with Meraki and FortiAP solutions.
  • Cloud:
    Working knowledge of
    Microsoft Azure
    infrastructure and networking (VNets, vWAN, ExpressRoute, Private DNS Resolver).
  • Virtualization:
    Experience with
    VMware
    ,
    Hyper-V
    , and
    Azure VMs
    .
  • Operating Systems:
    Proficiency in
    Windows Server
    and
    desktop troubleshooting
    .
  • Ticketing Tools:
    Experience working with
    ServiceNow
    or similar ITSM tools.
