In This Role, You Will

Technical Leadership

• Own the architecture, development, and deployment of advanced AI systems and autonomous agents.
• Provide technical direction to the AI/ML team, ensuring alignment with product and business goals.
• Conduct design reviews, mentor engineers, and set engineering best practices.
• Build agent architectures using modern LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, etc.).
• Integrate AI systems with enterprise applications, APIs, and Cogniwide's Agentic AI platforms.
• Ensure solutions meet high standards of security, observability, and scalability.
• Explore advanced techniques in RAG, reasoning, memory systems, reflection, and autonomous workflows.
• Evaluate new models, tools, and frameworks for potential adoption.

Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers and agent developers.
• Drive execution, set priorities, review progress, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support team growth through coaching, hiring, and skill development.

Customer Engagement & Delivery Ownership

• Act as a technical leader, directly working with customers on requirements, solution design, deployment, and success metrics.
• Manage customer expectations, communication, and delivery timelines.
• Independently handle customer challenges, escalations, and solution decisions.
• Translate customer needs into actionable technical workstreams for the team.

Governance, Quality & Standardization

• Define coding standards, documentation practices, and quality guidelines for AI projects.
• Support responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, and safety protocols.

What You Will Bring

Leadership & Ownership

• Proven experience leading AI/ML teams or engineering squads.
• Ability to independently manage customer relationships and deliver solutions end-to-end.
• Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data, UX).

Technical Expertise

• Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript.
• Experience with LLM-based development, agent orchestration, and RAG systems.
• Knowledge of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD, and containerization.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, microservices, and API design.

Strategic & Communication Skills

• Ability to translate customer needs and business objectives into scalable technical designs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
