Position: Maintenance Staff (Electrician & Plumber – Multitasking)

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Location: Shree Hospital, Kharadi

Reporting To: Maintenance In-charge / Hospital Administrator

Job Summary:

Responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, and general facility systems to ensure smooth, safe, and uninterrupted hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities:Electrical Maintenance:

  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical panels, wiring, lighting, and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification to avoid service disruption.
  • Support maintenance of DG sets, UPS, and power backup systems.
  • Monitor and maintain voltage levels and ensure safe operation of electrical circuits.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or electricians when specialized work is required.

Plumbing Maintenance:

  • Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, sanitary fittings, and fixtures.
  • Inspect pipelines for leaks or blockages and take corrective action immediately.
  • Maintain adequate water pressure and ensure proper functioning of water pumps and tanks.

General Maintenance & Multitasking:

  • Attend to routine civil, carpentry, or general repair work as needed.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance calls from various hospital departments.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop area in good condition.
  • Keep daily logbooks of maintenance activities and report major issues to the In-charge.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and as per hospital safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Plumbing (or equivalent technical qualification).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience in hospital, hotel, or facility maintenance.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to handle multitasking and emergency repair situations efficiently.
  • Good communication, discipline, and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call duty when required.

Work Environment:

  • Hospital-based role involving both preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Requires physical activity and quick response to maintenance issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
