Job Summary:

Switchgear and Control Technics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance, troubleshoot complex electrical systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes. The ideal candidate will have experience with STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), RO (Reverse Osmosis) systems, and electrical systems related to switchgear and control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and switchgear.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues in panels, wiring, control systems, motors, and power distribution.
  • Interpret and work from electrical blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical drawings.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot STP, RO, DG Set, plant equipment and associated electrical controls.
  • Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team for timely upgrades and installations.
  • Maintain documentation of all repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts used.
  • Inspect and test electrical systems using tools such as multimeters, megger and clamp meters.
  • Assist in the design and installation of electrical systems when needed.

Requirements:

  • ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, especially with switchgear, control panels, DG Sets and utility systems (STP/RO).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
  • Solid understanding of electrical codes (e.g., IEC/IS/NEC) and safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
  • Familiarity with tools such as PLC testers, insulation testers, and safety lockout/tagout systems.

Work Conditions:

  • Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or on-call as required.
  • Physically fit to handle maintenance duties in industrial environments.
