The HR Workforce Relations Senior Consultant I provides a range of workforce relations services to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Performs medium to complex workforce relations assignments with minimal guidance. The individual takes initiative in identifying opportunities for individual, team and department improvement. The individual works independently, prioritizing the individual's own responsibilities, and managing the individual's own workload.
Key Responsibilities- Proficiently identify, address and resolve workplace conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
- Advise HR Business Partners on complex employee related situations.
- Assist and conduct investigations into grievances and concerns raised by employees.
- Provide end-to-end case management of complex employee relations issues- these include aspects of performance management, leave related concerns, investigations, disciplinary, grievance, work redundancy, intermittent availability etc.,
- Define, design and develop policy framework for the organization as and when required.
- Enforce compliance to policy requirements of handling grievances and misconduct.
- Issuing appropriate disciplinary letters such as preparing the warning letters/ show cause notices/ issuing charge sheet to delinquent employees.
- Own and deliver outcomes of multiple compliance related projects/program areas.
- Review current HR practices and policies to identify potential compliance risks and provide recommendations.
- Partner closely with the ER Leaders, HR leaders, legal counsels, and business leaders to proactively address compliance concerns and implement best practices.
- Bachelors Degree and/or Masters degree (MBA Preferred).
- In-depth understanding of labor laws and regulations applicable to IT/ITES industry.
10-12 Years of experience in ER and Indian employment laws
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
