Role Description

This is an on-site contract position for a PLC Programmer, based in Bengaluru. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for developing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC systems for automation projects. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging PLC programs, collaborating with design and engineering teams, developing HMI software, and ensuring smooth system integration. The role also involves assisting with machine diagnostics, conducting field visits to customer sites, and optimizing automation processes to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and debugging
  • Proficiency in developing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and integration
  • Strong understanding of automation systems, process design, and control systems
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to improve system reliability using predictive technologies
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement customized engineering solutions
  • Previous experience in Industry 4.0 technologies and smart factory concepts is an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields
