Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Manager to oversee and coordinate our entire farm production process. This role requires a hands-on professional with expertise in labor management, inventory control, water management, and overall organic farming practices—from land preparation to harvest. The ideal candidate will ensure that our operations adhere to the highest standards of sustainability and organic certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Farm Operations Management:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee daily organic farming activities.
  • Develop and implement sustainable crop rotation, soil fertility, and water conservation strategies.
  • Labor & Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and supervise farm laborers and seasonal workers.
  • Schedule tasks and ensure a productive, safe, and efficient working environment.
  • Inventory & Resource Control:
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of organic inputs, tools, and equipment.
  • Monitor and optimize resource usage to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
  • Water Management:
  • Design and implement water management strategies, including efficient irrigation systems and water conservation measures.
  • Record-Keeping & Compliance:
  • Maintain detailed records of crop cycles, yields, resource usage, and labor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with organic certification standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Agriculture(B.Sc in Agriculture) or a related field; additional certifications in Organic Farming are highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in farm management, particularly within organic or sustainable farming environments.
  • Strong knowledge of organic farming practices, including crop rotation, soil and water management, and integrated pest management.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in farm management software or digital agriculture tools is a plus.
