Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer specializing in Rulestream to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of our Rulestream-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Rulestream Author (RSA), Rulestream Engineer (RSE), and Visual Innovations Advanced (VIA). You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating closely with development and product teams to deliver robust and reliable software.

Key Responsibilities:

* Using RSA to author rules that will enable effective testing by the development and QA teams

* Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Rulestream-based applications, including new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

* Analyze requirements and design specifications to ensure thorough test coverage.

* Estimate QA efforts and provide timelines for testing activities.

* Test Execution & Reporting:

* Execute manual and automated tests on Rulestream solutions across various environments.

* Automate tests

* Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system, ensuring clear and concise reporting.

* Perform regression testing, retesting, and smoke testing to validate fixes and prevent regressions.

* Collaborate with developers to reproduce and debug issues.

* Collaboration & Communication

* Work closely with Rulestream developers, product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

* Participate in design reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning meetings.

* Communicate test results, progress, and risks effectively to relevant teams.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

* 5 years of demonstrable experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on Rulestream.

* Proven hands-on experience of Rulestream Author (RSA).

* Proven hands-on experience of Rulestream Engineer (RSE).

* Proven hands-on experience of Visual Innovations Advanced (VIA).

* Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

* Experience with test automation using Java, Selenium or others
