Manager BOM

Objective

To ensure accurate creation, maintenance, and control of Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP for all products, ensuring smooth production planning, material availability, cost accuracy, and efficient manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for creation, validation, and maintenance of BOMs in SAP for all existing and new products.
• Ensure data accuracy in SAP related to BOM, routing, and material master.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, and Purchase teams for any BOM changes or updates.
• Monitor and control daily process data punching and day-to-day entries in SAP.
• Ensure material issue entries and consumption are updated timely and accurately in SAP.
• Track and reconcile consumables, BOPs, and raw materials between physical and SAP records.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports covering material consumption, wastage, and data accuracy trends.
• Perform Product Costing analysis compare BOM vs. Actual Consumption and highlight variances.
• Lead monthly stock verification and material reconciliation activities.
• Monitor and reconcile scrap physical stock vs. system stock on a regular basis.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement in data management and SAP utilization.
