Job Title: Industrial Performance Controller
Department: Industrial/Plant Finance 
Reports To: Plant Controller / Head Industrial Performance 
Location: Haridwar
Job Purpose:
To drive performance control across industrial operations by ensuring accuracy in monthly closings, cost monitoring, efficiency analysis, and performance reporting. The role ensures optimization of manufacturing resources, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement in plant productivity and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monthly Closing & Performance Reporting
- Execute monthly financial closing activities related to industrial performance.
- Conduct PRA analysis, cost runs, and prepare price-volume and subcontracting reports.
- Generate standard reports (Price Index, SS report, etc.) for management review.
- Prepare Plant Finance Key Figures presentation and analysis every month.
- Perform CNQ (Cost, Non-Quality, Quantity) analysis to identify deviations and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and review Standard Costs, BOM analyses, and Material Variance reports.
- Analyze Direct Labor (DL) efficiency and Added Value performance (Standard vs Actual, YOY, MOM).
- Perform Inventory analysis, Scrap reconciliation, and Cycle count validation.
- Conduct automation efficiency and YOY output studies for productivity enhancement.
2. Repair & Maintenance Control
- Review all maintenance requisitions for necessity and cost optimization.
- Conduct pre-analysis of repair works before approval.
- Lead breakdown analysis to identify root causes and preventive actions.
- Support resource optimization for maintenance and repair activities.
3. Process Loss & Productivity Management
- Identify and analyze process losses, non-value-added activities, rework, and rejection trends.
- Assess losses due to breakdowns and implement corrective measures.
- Conduct additional headcount deployment analysis to ensure manpower productivity.
- Monitor delay in value-added activities and drive process improvements.
- Perform Productivity / SGIA (Standard Gross Industrial Added value) and Subcontractor performance analysis.
4. Material Consumption & Purchase Control
- Analyze material consumption trends vs. BOM standards.
- Monitor process loss, non-quality scrap, and slow-moving inventory.
- Coordinate with PPC and Procurement teams to control purchase efficiency and reduce material wastage.
5. Capex Management
- Monitor productive and non-productive Capex proposals.
- Ensure cost-benefit analysis and alignment of Capex with industrial performance goals.
- Track project progress, budget adherence, and realization of projected benefits.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Timeliness and accuracy of monthly closing and performance reports.
- Variance reduction (Material, Labor, and Overheads).
- Improvement in Added Value and DL Efficiency.
- Reduction in process losses, rework, and scrap.
- Resource optimization in maintenance and production.
- Adherence to Capex budgets and ROI realization.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA / BE + MBA preferred.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in Industrial/Plant Controlling, Costing, or Manufacturing Finance.
- Industry: Preferably from Automotive, Engineering, or Manufacturing sectors.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, variance analysis, and industrial KPIs.
- Proficiency in SAP (CO, PP, MM modules), Excel, and Power BI.
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
- Process orientation with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, and Procurement teams.
