The role and impact

We are looking for an experienced HSE professional with an outgoing and pro-active personality and who can support Topsoe business in our Noida and Chennai office as well as our offices in the Middle East & Malaysia. Your role plays an important part in supporting and advising local site management in HSE topics as well as promoting our Zero Harm culture.

The Asia & Middle East HSE Business Partner supports the implementation of the global Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) strategy while integrating local requirements and leading improvement activities relevant to operations in the Middle East and Asia region. The role involves designing and developing HSE policies, processes, and programs, including those for the Topsoe Service Line Business.

The role also supports and advises on HSE programs for Global technology business. This includes implementing programs on process safety, such as defining process safety and risk management standards for the engineering design of decarbonization technologies.

Furthermore, our HSE Business Partner in Asia & Middle East leads emergency management setup and implements crisis and continuity management plans for the region. You will oversee incident management for Asia and the Middle East, including incident classification and investigation.

What you'll bring

To excel in this role, you will bring extensive experience, preferable from HSE roles in chemical, energy, oil and gas, manufacturing, or other heavy industries. You possess a strong understanding of international HSE standards, regulations, and best practices, and have a proven track record in managing HSE.

Ideally you will bring working knowledge of Process Safety Management and have experience with programs for Service Line Business and Project HSE Management.

Your new team

You will be part of the Global Health & Safety Team with team members in both India and Denmark. The wider HSE team is mainly located across Denmark, however. In addition, you will be part of a wider HSE team spanning Topsoe's sites in Frederikssund and Bayport and our headquarters in Lyngby, collaborating across locations to drive best practices and shared success.
