POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Commercial Director to lead ETS's South Asia operations for TOEFL and GRE. This high-impact role will oversee regional sales, marketing, and partnership initiatives, driving revenue growth and expanding ETS's market presence across one of the world's most dynamic education regions.
You will lead a high-performing team, manage key relationships with universities, ministries of education, and private education providers, and adapt global go-to-market strategies to local needs. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on building partnerships, scaling impact, and delivering measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional go-to-market strategies for TOEFL and GRE.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales and marketing team across South Asia.
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with ministries of education, universities, test prep organizations, and other relevant channels.
- Drive revenue growth through effective sales planning, forecasting, and execution.
- Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and upselling opportunities.
- Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, legal, and finance to land global strategies locally.
- Represent ETS in media, events, and government engagements across South Asia.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the education or assessment industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Strong experience in partnership development and stakeholder engagement.
- Deep understanding of the education sector in South Asia.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated success in people management and team development.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
