About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and data-driven Senior SEO Executive to join our digital marketing team. This role requires deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in on-page SEO, technical SEO, and content optimizationto drive organic performance, increase keyword rankings, and grow website traffic.
As a senior member of the team, you will work collaboratively with developers, designers, content creators, and analysts to implement SEO strategies that improve site visibility and user experience across all search engines.
Key Responsibilities:On-Page SEO:
- Optimize website content, metadata, headings, internal linking, and URL structures.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Work with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied in content creation.
- Perform SEO audits and regularly update key landing pages for target keywords.
Technical SEO:
- Conduct comprehensive technical audits and implement solutions for crawlability, indexation, and site performance.
- Optimize website architecture, sitemaps, , canonical tags, and hreflang.
- Identify and fix technical issues like broken links, crawl errors, duplicate content, and page speed problems.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals and work with developers to implement improvements.
- Ensure proper implementation of schema markup and structured data.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and similar to analyze performance.
- Monitor and report on SEO KPIs: organic traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, CTR, bounce rate, etc.
- Provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Collaboration & Strategy:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams: development, content, design, and product.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the overall SEO strategy and mentor junior team members if applicable.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in a fast-paced or agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of on-page SEO (content optimization, HTML tags, internal linking).
- Advanced understanding of technical SEO (site architecture, JavaScript SEO, page speed, structured data).
- Experience with SEO tools: Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, GTM, etc.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or headless CMSs.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data into actionable insights.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager certification.
- Experience with international SEO, mobile-first indexing, or e-commerce platforms.
- Familiarity with web development or working with dev teams on technical projects.
