Job Title: PRT English & Social Science

Location: Amity International School, Saket

Responsibilities:

  1. Teach English and Social Science to primary classes as per the CBSE curriculum.
  2. Plan and deliver age-appropriate, interactive, and engaging lessons.
  3. Develop creative teaching materials, worksheets, and activities to support learning.
  4. Foster reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through innovative classroom strategies.
  5. Introduce foundational concepts of Social Science through stories, visuals, and experiential learning.
  6. Assess student progress through classwork, assignments, projects, and periodic tests.
  7. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
  8. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and classroom activities.
  9. Participate actively in school events, assemblies, workshops, and professional development programs.
  10. Collaborate with grade-level teachers to ensure smooth academic delivery and curriculum planning.
  11. Ensure classroom discipline, safety, and adherence to school norms.

Requirements:

  1. Graduate/Post Graduate in English, Social Science, or relevant discipline.
  2. Professional qualification: B.Ed / B.El.Ed / ETT (as applicable).
  3. Prior experience teaching primary grades in a CBSE school is preferred.
  4. Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching young learners.
  5. Ability to engage children through creative teaching techniques and hands-on activities.
