About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Sample Room Incharge to manage and oversee our apparel sample development process end-to-end. You'll coordinate with design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure timely, high-quality sample deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily workflow of the sample room and oversee the sampling team
- Liaise with designers and merchandisers to understand sample requirements
- Ensure timely development and dispatch of proto, fit, and PP samples
- Maintain inventory of raw materials, trims, and sample stock
- Track sample progress and troubleshoot delays or issues
- Maintain records of sample approvals, feedback, and modifications
- Supervise tailoring, finishing, and quality check processes
Requirements:
- 4-5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in export or fashion houses
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and trims
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Excel or sampling management tools is a plus
