Job Summary:

The Logistics Executive will manage and coordinate day-to-day logistics operations, including import, export, and domestic activities. The role involves shipment planning, documentation, inventory coordination, and vendor management to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics for both domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate with customs agents, freight forwarders, and transporters for timely clearance and movement of goods.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all necessary import/export documentation, including shipping instructions, commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, GST, E-way bills, and other statutory requirements.
• Plan and monitor daily dispatches to ensure on-time delivery to clients and internal departments.
• Track shipments and address issues related to delays, damages, or shortages.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipment status, gate passes, invoices, and delivery challans.
• Liaise with internal departments such as procurement, sales, production, and accounts to ensure seamless logistics coordination.
• Implement cost control strategies through route optimization, load planning, and vendor negotiations.
• Generate and analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports on shipment performance and logistics KPIs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Thorough understanding of domestic and international logistics operations.
• Working knowledge of export-import policies, incoterms, HS codes, and trade compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP/SAP systems, MS Excel, and logistics software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
• 35 years of experience in a logistics role with exposure to both import/export and domestic movements.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing sectors preferred.
