Quality Analyst

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Quality Analyst to become a key player in our Bangalore team. If you're a seasoned QA pro and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent Functional testing for changes to the application, understanding non-life/P&C insurance business process and the Business Requirements and Functional Specifications.
• Design test cases including expected outputs from the Business Requirements and Functionals to ensure maximum coverage, to emulate user interaction in the production environment.
• Execute the end-to-end test scenarios and validate results.
• Update & maintain documentation of the executed test cases, using IDIT methodology.
• Report test results and ensure that bugs are properly identified, tracked, documented and fixed and help in UAT support to users

Requirements:

• Years working experience with exposure to IT Systems with complex business processes, and planning for functional testing, impact analysis of changes, and regression testing. 
• Good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills.
• Exposure to major applications in any area – Insurance (Non Life Insurance), Banking, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing.
• Should have experience in understanding business requirements, functional specifications.
• Should have exposure to technology – HTML, SQL.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Good learner and self-starter, and a team player, ready for the next challenge - wherever it may be.
• B.E (or equivalent).
• Any Insurance/ Industry Standard Testing Certification – will be preferred.
• Experience in insurance, esp non-life insurance and exposure to a policy admin system-  – will be preferred.
