Role Description

Location:
This is a full-time on-site role for a BCom Lecturer located in Bengaluru. Please apply only if you are already living in the city or plan to shift to Bangalore immediately.

The BCom Lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, conducting seminars, creating and grading examinations, and mentoring students. The role also includes developing curriculum and course materials, engaging with students in various activities, and participating in departmental meetings and research initiatives. The lecturer is expected to have a yearly plan, monthly plan, weekly plan and daily plan that need to be submitted to the principal/ coordinator. A continuous improvement plan is also to be made to ensure students are evaluated regularly so that additional importance can be given to those who need it.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate fluently in English
• Experience in teaching, developing curriculum, and conducting seminars in Commerce and related fields
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Finance, Business Law, and Taxation including GST and Income Tax
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to mentor and guide students as a role model
• Proficiency in using educational technology and tools
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) or related field; Ph.D. is a plus
• Previous experience in academia or industry is advantageous
