Job Title: Web Developer

Job Role & Responsibilities:

A Web Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining websites and web applications to ensure functionality, performance, and user experience. Their job is to turn ideas and designs into fully functional websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:

Build responsive and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks.

Develop both front-end (user interface) and back-end (server, database) functionality.

Front-End Development:

Convert UI/UX designs into functional web pages.

Optimize website for performance, speed, and cross-browser compatibility.

Back-End Development: (if full-stack or back-end developer)

Build and manage server-side logic, databases, and APIs.

Ensure website security and data protection.

Maintenance & Updates:

Monitor website performance and fix bugs or technical issues.

Implement new features and improvements as required.

Testing & Debugging:

Perform regular testing to ensure website functionality and compatibility.

Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.

Collaboration:

Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.

Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)

Experience with back-end technologies (e.g., , PHP, )

Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB)

Version control (e.g., Git, GitHub)

Responsive and mobile-first design

Understanding of web security principles

Basic knowledge of SEO best practices

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (optional if skilled)

Coding bootcamps or self-taught developers are also widely accepted.
