Position: Mechanical Designer

Department: Global Product Management – GCC Division

Location: Bangalore

Role Summary:

The Mechanical Designer will create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for machinery, equipment, and structures, ensuring compliance with AGI design standards and collaboration with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D models and detailed drawings in SolidWorks and Inventor.
  • Work with the Principal Engineer and Global Product Management teams (Chicago, USA).
  • Ensure design accuracy, documentation compliance, and scope control.
  • Utilize Excel for data analysis; coding skills for task automation a plus.
  • Support metal fabrication and assembly design projects.

Requirements:

  • B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • 3–5 years of experience in 3D design and drafting (SolidWorks & Inventor).
  • Experience with metal fabrication, assemblies, and structural drawings.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with sound mechanical and technical knowledge.
  • Proficient in English (oral and written).
