About the Opportunity
A leader in enterprise digital transformation and customer engagement solutions, this organization delivers mission-critical BPM and CRM platforms that drive automation, efficiency, and exceptional user experiences. You'll join a high-impact engineering team on-site in India, working with global clients to architect and implement scalable Pega-based applications that solve complex business challenges.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and configure end-to-end Pega applications: case life cycles, data pages, UI, decision rules, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust Pega solutions and technical specifications.
  • Implement REST and SOAP integrations, Java activities, and service calls to external systems and data sources.
  • Conduct code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure best practices, high availability, and low latency.
  • Mentor junior Pega developers, share best practices, and enforce governance around Pega frameworks and reusable components.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and continuous delivery of high-quality Pega releases.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong CSSA level candidate with minimum 8 years of overall experience in Pega development and implementation.
  • Candidate should be hands-on expertise in data migration from older Pega versions to newer releases.
  • A strong command of Pega BIX is required, including proficiency in configuring BIX extracts and a clear understanding of how extract files are generated.
  • The candidate should also possess solid knowledge of Themes Cosmos
  • Comfortable working with both Pega 7 and Pega 23.x platforms.
  • Good communication skills

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Pega Platform (7.x or 8.x) and PCSA/PCSSA certification.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Pega extensions.
  • Deep understanding of BPM architecture, case management, and decisioning capabilities in Pega.
  • Proven experience integrating Pega with external systems via REST/SOAP and web services.
  • Solid exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and full SDLC in an enterprise environment.

Preferred

  • Pega Customer Service or Sales Automation domain knowledge.
  • Experience with DevOps practices for CI/CD and automated testing in Pega.
  • Additional certifications (CSSA, Pega Robotics) or experience in next-best-action decision strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership of Pega project modules or small teams.
