Position – Sr. Architectural Design Manager

Location - Embassy Maanyata Business Park,Outer Ring Road, Nagavara, Bangalore, Karnataka

Job Time - 9:00am - 6:00pm

Our team has handled projects such as high-rise towers, infrastructure planning, mixed-use facilities, Industrial logistics, luxury homes, etc.

 Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management

• Lead and manage the Bangalore architectural team, including architects, BIM architects and draftsmen.
• Allocate resources, monitor workloads, and ensure timely delivery of design outputs.
• Mentor and develop team skills, with a focus on BIM-based design workflows.
• Conduct regular design and BIM model reviews, QA/QC checks, and performance appraisals.

Design & Technical Oversight

• Oversee architectural design from concept through construction documentation (CD/IFC).
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality standards, and project-specific requirements.
• Review design layouts, materials, finishes, and architectural details.
• Coordinate closely with Structural and MEP teams to ensure design integration and constructability.
• Supervise production of architectural drawings, 3D models, and visualizations. QA/QC Coordination
• Collaborate with the QA/QC department for review and approval of architectural deliverables.
• Ensure that the Bangalore team's outputs are prepared to QA/QC standards before formal review.
  • Implement QA/QC recommendations and address any feedback promptly.
• Participate in QA/QC review meetings as required, clarifying design intent or resolving queries.

BIM Management

• Lead BIM workflows for the architectural team, ensuring accurate 3D models, clash detection, and coordination with Structural and MEP disciplines.
• Maintain proper version control, documentation, and standardized BIM practices.
• Guide the team on advanced BIM tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors flagged by QA/QC.
• Coordinate with BIM Manager in Dubai, if required. Project Coordination & Communication
• Act as the main liaison between Bangalore and Dubai architectural teams.
• Participate in design coordination meetings, client presentations, and multidisciplinary workshops
  • Report project status, highlight risks, and propose solutions to the Dubai management team
• Ensure smooth handover of deliverables to Dubai office and clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's degree in Architecture.
• Overall, 25 years' experience with minimum 10 years of Architectural design experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience delivering residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use projects.
• Technical Expertise:

✓ Expert in BIM workflows, including clash detection, coordination, and 3D modelling.

 ✓ Ability to integrate architectural BIM models with Structural and MEP disciplines.

✓ Expert in Advanced proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DS Max, Lumion, Photoshop, or similar tools.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project coordination skills.
