Recruitment Specialist – Job DescriptionJob Description

The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for the organization. This role partners with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develops effective sourcing strategies, and ensures a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition

  2. Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  3. Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and candidate profiles.
  4. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, referrals, and professional networks.

  5. Candidate Management

  6. Screen resumes and applications to shortlist qualified candidates.

  7. Conduct phone and in-person interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  8. Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.

  9. Hiring Manager Support

  10. Provide guidance to hiring managers on interview techniques and selection best practices.

  11. Partner with managers to make data-driven hiring decisions.
  12. Coordinate interview schedules and feedback sessions.

  13. Employer Branding

  14. Promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.

  15. Participate in job fairs, networking events, and university recruitment activities.
  16. Support diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in recruitment efforts.

  17. Process & Compliance

  18. Maintain accurate recruitment records in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

  19. Ensure compliance with labor laws, hiring regulations, and company policies.
  20. Track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and prepare regular reports for HR leadership.
