JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer for the design works of reinforced soil structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of Reinforced Soil Structures in accordance with Indian & International standards
  • Develop and review detailed project drawings
  • Evaluate geotechnical investigation reports to assess soil conditions and propose suitable ground improvement techniques
  • Apply knowledge of geosynthetic materials to implement hybrid reinforced soil systems
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project-specific documentation
  • Coordinate with draughtsmen to guide the preparation of engineering drawings.
  • Create Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for the assigned projects
  • Maintain effective communication with clients to align deliverables with project objectives
  • Conduct site visits and deliver presentations for source approval from the concerned authority
  • Coordinate with the consultant to seek approval of design files, construction drawings, etc.
  • Document project outcomes through detailed case studies upon completion
  • Training of junior engineers & draughtsmen

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Solid foundation in geotechnical engineering principles
  • Proficiency in engineering and design software, such as Slide, MSEW, ReSSA, etc
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication
  • Ability to maintain positive client relationships
