PMT Machines Limited is a leading Indian manufacturing company with over 60 years of experience, diversified into sectors such as machine tools, oil and gas, engineering projects, and contract manufacturing. Originally started as Traub India in 1961, the company absorbed technologies from various German and Swiss machine tool companies to produce world-class Turning and Grinding machines in India. PMT has state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Pimpri, Pune, spread over 47,346 sq. meters. In 2007, PMT acquired Elb India to manufacture high-precision Surface Grinding Machines at Halol.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer located in Vadodara. The Design Engineer will be responsible for developing mechanical and electrical engineering designs, creating and modifying CAD models, and ensuring the product design meets the required specifications. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to oversee the development and manufacturing process and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design
- Strong knowledge in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is a plus
