We are seeking a courteous, organized, and professional Receptionist to join our Dermatology Clinic. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. You will be responsible for managing appointments, handling patient inquiries, maintaining medical records, and supporting the day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide accurate information about dermatology services and procedures
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments, ensuring optimal time management for the dermatologist
  • Register new patients and update medical records with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure minimal wait times and smooth transitions
  • Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, including billing and collecting payments
  • Assist with insurance verifications and documentation as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and patient privacy (HIPAA or equivalent standards)
  • Promote skincare products and services when appropriate
  • Provide administrative support to dermatologists and clinical staff

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a diploma or certification in office administration or healthcare is a plus)
  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical, dermatology, or aesthetics setting preferred
  • Proficiency with medical software systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks calmly and efficiently
  • Familiarity with skincare terminology and procedures (training can be provided)
  • Knowledge of medical billing or insurance processes is a plus

  • Full-time position, with occasional weekend or evening hours
