A dishwasher is primarily responsible for washing, sanitizing, and storing all dishes, glassware, and utensils in a kitchen environment. This involves operating dishwashing machines, hand-washing items, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace by sweeping floors, managing trash, and cleaning equipment. Additionally, dishwashers may assist with basic food preparation and other tasks as needed. Core responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize: Clean dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using both commercial dishwashers and manual washing methods.
  • Sort and store: Sort, stack, and properly store all clean dishes, utensils, and cookware in their designated areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness: Keep the kitchen, dishwashing area, and storage spaces clean and organized by sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Trash and waste management: Remove trash, recycling, and food waste, clean garbage containers, and ensure the disposal area is tidy.

Additional duties

  • Assist with prep work: Help with basic food preparation tasks as requested by chefs or managers, such as chopping vegetables or preparing sauces.
  • Monitor and report: Ensure dishwashing machines are functioning correctly and report any issues to a supervisor.
  • Stock supplies: Assist in stocking supplies, such as food or utensils, in their proper storage locations.
  • Follow safety procedures: Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8, ₹11,000.00 per month
