Role Description

We are seeking a Contract-based Part-time Operations Specialist to support key operational functions. In this role, you will manage product quality checks, assist the merchandising team, and oversee order dispatch with third-party logistics companies. This is an on-demand, flexible role based in New Delhi, requiring you to visit the office only on days when work is assigned.

Salary

Per working day, fixed in advance.

Quality Management:

  • Work closely with the merchandising team to conduct virtual inspections of products to identify any defects or discrepancies.
  • Perform in-person quality checks on all orders and pack them according to company standards before dispatching products to customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality checks, including photographs and reports, to track trends and improvements.
  • Identify and document any errors, defects, or irregularities in products and ensure they are returned to designers and rectified promptly.

Logistics Management:

  • Coordinate with shipping partners to arrange timely and secure pickups while ensuring competitive shipping rates.
  • Address dispatch-related issues or delays proactively to minimize customer inconvenience.
  • Track orders through various stages, including customs clearance and any delays.
  • Prepare and maintain required documentation such as shipping bills and invoices and maintain freight charge records with courier companies.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for GST claims and maintain shipping bills and invoices accurately.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience performing quality checks and packaging apparel garments.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience handling international shipping.
  • A startup mindset with the willingness to handle tasks both big and small.
  • Availability to work from the designated Delhi office on assigned working days.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Gmail.
  • Fluency in written and verbal English is a must.
