Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer / Architect to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in software architecture and backend development, with hands-on experience in Python, Django, Django REST Framework (DRF), PostgreSQL, Redis, MinIO, ElasticMQ, Azurite and AWS/Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development of RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework.
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements, analyse, design and develop high-performance solutions to complex business problems.
  • Optimize application for performance, scalability, reliability and security.
  • Participate actively during design sessions and code reviews, provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, best practices and automated CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Python applications using frameworks like Django
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Expertise in Python, Django, and Django REST Framework, web development.
  • Strong knowledge of object-relational mapping (ORM) with proficient in working with PostgreSQL, Redis database management and queries optimization.
  • Experience with MinIO and Azurite for object storage solutions.
  • Knowledge of ElasticMQ for message brokering and asynchronous processing.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and microservices architecture
  • Solid grasp of unit testing and TDD methodologies.
  • Experience developing with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and containerization using Docker for building, packaging, and deploying scalable applications.
  • Excellent Problem-solving & communication skills with proactive teamwork.
  • Be self-starting in undertaking analysis and development tasks
  • Hands-on experience with SSO protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), or SAML.
  • Knowledge of integrating Django with IdPs (Okta, Azure AD, Google, etc.).
