• ork under the mentorship and guidance of a Lead Instrumentation Engineer.

• evelopment a variety of I&C design documents such as design drawings, technical specifications, design basis, calculations, instrument selection, procurement support with a high level of competence and minimal oversight.

• ork efficiently to assure that project schedules and budgets are met.

• ork independently and collaborate in cross-discipline team to meet project goals.

• ompliance with North American Codes and Standards, governing regulations, industry practices, and internal procedures.

• evelop and perform quality reviews for detailed and design documents.

• eview of instrument and control systems vendor drawings and interface with suppliers, clients, other engineering disciplines, detailers/designers.

• articipate in the development and design review of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).

• repare and review control deliverables such as Control Narratives, Cause and Effect diagrams, System Architecture Diagrams, Instrument Location Layouts, Installation Details, Wiring & Interconnection Diagrams, PLC Layouts, and Loop Drawings.

• repare I&C lists such as equipment list, IO list, I/O assignment, Instrument Index, Serial Interface list, cable list, etc.

• erform instrument sizing calculations and selection.

• eveloping and reviewing Instrumentation Datasheets for instruments and valves.

• rovide configuration of and programming of controls equipment, including PLCs, HMIs, DCS Systems, etc.

• articipate in client and project review meetings.

• repare technical bid evaluation and attend FAT.

• ollaboration with project management/engineering discipline to develop project budgets, schedule, prepare scoping documents, design criteria and list of project deliverables.

• romote engineering professionalism and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.

• achelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or related field).

• orking knowledge of Instrumentation and Controls Engineering is essential.

• asic knowledge of applicable design standards governing corresponding design work, such as API, NFPA, ISA, PIP, IEC, IEEE, ISO, NACE, NESC.

• trong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the team.

• xcellent computer skills such as MS Word, Excel and Projects.

• aintain and update personal knowledge of current industry trends and technology.

• emonstrate advanced ability to work with others in supplying information and seeking assistance as necessary.
